Mission Statement

Because we are called together by God's love in Christ Jesus, our mission as Thompson Springs Baptist Church is to love God, to love one another, and to love our neighbors.

We will love God by:

  • Obeying God's truth as revealed in the Bible.
  • Glorifying God through our praise and worship.
  • Deepening our relationship with God through prayer, fasting, giving, and other spiritual disciplines.

We will love one another by:

  • Helping each other grow as active disciples of Christ.
  • Ministering to each other in Christian fellowship.
  • Developing relationships built upon mutual commitment, prayer, and forgiveness.

We will love our neighbors by:

  • Sharing the good news and gospel of Christ.
  • Promoting the righteousness and justice of God in our world.
