Springs
Baptist
Church gives
10% of all
undesignated
receipts to
the
Tennessee
Baptist
Convention.
The state
convention
uses 60% of
these funds
to support a
wide array
of
ministries
and missions
including:
evangelism
efforts,
adult and
children’s
homes,
volunteer
missions,
missions
education,
new church
plants,
collegiate
ministries,
camps, and
much more.
The
remaining
40% is sent
to the
Southern
Baptist
Convention.
These gifts
are used to
send and
support over
10,000
missionaries;
train
pastors and
other
ministry
leaders;
provide
relief for
retired
ministers
and widows;
and address
social,
moral, and
ethical
concerns
relating to
our faith
and
families.
Six Southern
Baptist
seminaries
(Southern,
Southeastern,
Midwestern,
Southwestern,
Golden Gate,
and New
Orleans)
educate in
excess of
16,000
pastors,
missionaries,
and future
church
leaders each
year
.
The bottom
line –
people
around the
world hear
the gospel
and receive
Christ.
Working
together we
accomplish
more!
TSBC gives
an
additional
5% of all
undesignated
funds to the
Bradley
Baptist
Association.
The local
association
provides
many mission
opportunities
such as
Ocoee
Outreach,
Ocoee Resort
Ministries,
Project
Helping
Hands,
Disaster
Relief, and
a Late Night
Basketball
Ministry.
In addition
to these
gifts; TSBC
participates
in several
special
missions
offerings,
supports the
Rock of Ages
Prison
Ministry and
Operation UK through our
Wednesday
night
offering,
and has
members
routinely
volunteer
for local
mission
projects
through the
Baptist Men
on Mission
and Baptist
Women on
Mission
orgainzations.
