"...he being dead yet speaketh."

Charles (Buster) Seaton

A large portion of the following biography was originally published on the website of oldpathsradio.org:

Charles Martin (Buster) Seaton was born in Knoxville, TN into a preacher's family.  His father “Big” Jim Seaton was know as the “White Horse Preacher”, because of his love and longing for the second coming.

Brother Buster was born again in 1976 at age 24 in his mother's kitchen, that same night he surrendered to preach.  He preached his first sermon the following Wednesday, and then preached a Revival Meeting the next week.

Brother Seaton was a man of prayer and Bible study. His knowledge was very deep because of his devotion to and diligence in reading. His delivery was smooth, his voice resonate, and his imagination wonderful. He was in much demand for camp meetings and revivals all across the United States. One of his most requested messages was “I will return” a great message that stirred the saints of God about the second coming of Christ. His sermon, “Does It Pay To Serve God?" was also greatly used of God to encourage believers to trust the Lord.

Brother Buster preached with an old time flavor that encouraged the saint and exalted the Saviour. He was a great asset to the cause of Christ. Brother Buster suffered for years with physical and mental disorders, but his preaching will continue to bless all who hear the recordings long after his death on June 27, 2002.
